What I Use
At mico nail, I mostly use Japanese products.
Since I source my products directly from Japan, I carry a wide range of colors and items that are rare or unavailable in Canada.
My collection includes delicate shades, unique textures, and fine art that are difficult to find outside of Japan. By combining these distinctive materials, I create detailed, layered nail designs that have both depth and softness.
The result is nail art that feels refined, delicate, and truly one of a kind.
Hand & Nail Care Philosophy
Every client who comes to me is a busy, hardworking woman with her own concerns about her hands and nails. I welcome guests from their teens to their sixties, and about 70% are visiting a nail salon for the very first time.
Everyone's nails are unique in shape and size. I work closely with each client to gradually improve the natural form of their nails — even in cases of uneven growth or downward-curving nails. With consistent care over at least three months, I aim to move closer to each person's ideal nail shape.
For clients growing out their natural nails, I let them choose their favorite color from the very first visit. I started this because I wanted my nail-growth clients to enjoy beautiful gel nails while staying motivated along the way. I use a refillable base gel that protects and supports the natural nail as it grows, allowing me to sculpt and maintain a healthy, beautiful shape while minimizing damage.
I check on your nails' progress at every appointment. Shaping the nails and applying your favorite color lets you feel the change right away. For clients who can't wear gel polish for work, I offer nail-growth care through treatment alone.
Combining regular salon care with home care, we work together toward beautiful, healthy nails. Clients who experience this care are often amazed by how much their nails change — and when the hands you see every day look beautiful, it lifts your mood too.
